The Education & Leadership Development Manager is adept in skills training and adult education. The manager is responsible for developing quality and training programs to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of Customer Experience Operations. The Training and Development Manager is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing Customer Experience departments' knowledge, skills and quality to ensure success in exceeding customer expectations in all of the Customer Experience Operations touch points. This position will partner with OE, TU, and HR to develop and implement leadership development and change management strategies.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Partner with the business to proactively understand training and development needs. Develop the overall strategy for initial, ongoing and refresher development activities. Determine the best training delivery method to maximize learning as well as meet business objectives.
Implement strategies to accelerate cross training and flexibility among employees in support of the business needs.
Manage the Training, Coach, and Quality team - manage performance of direct reports, coach and develop staff.
Responsible for continuous improvement of training strategies and delivery methods, increased efficiency and effectiveness of training and ultimately, enhanced overall department expertise.
Establish and manage budget for training and quality assurance initiatives.
Develop the overall strategy for quality monitoring including use of eQuality. Improve quality through targeted training and development.
Ensure smooth implementation of eQuality changes, enhancements and upgrades.
Measure and report progress of all training initiatives in a timely and systematic manner
Assess quality and training initiatives/programs through review of student performance and evaluations. Recommend and implement changes as needed.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's in Adult Learning, Instructional Design degree preferred
Experience:
8+ years progressive experience in training and development with people and project management responsibilities.
